PNP spokesperson Police Colonel Allen Rae F. Co said the police assessment placed voter turnout at 82.41 percent, with the figure expected to rise as voting remained ongoing in Maluso, Basilan.
Voting in Maluso was delayed following the need to replace pre-shaded ballots.
Despite the isolated incidents, Co said no other significant untoward incidents had been reported as of Tuesday.
Police personnel remain deployed in key areas and are coordinating with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and other concerned government agencies to ensure the safe and orderly completion of the remaining election-related activities.
Co made the statement during a press conference led by DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla on Tuesday, September 15.
